We live in a very different time. Although every generation has something new to offer, it is the first in the education and acceptance of a gender spectrum. I dressed my daughters up in pink dresses and bought them dolls. I, myself, grew up playing with barbies and my brother had GI Joes. But he was sensitive and prissy while I was a tomboy and rough. It was a time where we tried to fit in but never could, because not until now were there options.
When both my children began their self exploration and subsequently my education on a gender spectrum, I realized how much the world has progressed. In the etheric realm there is no gender. We are thought, consciousness. There is love and identity is simply I AM. But here we were split into fragments, seeking other pieces to put ourselves back together, because deep down we knew we should be one piece.
Today you can be non-binary, they/it, A-sexual, Polyamorous, and so much more. Although I do not suggest anyone get caught up in labels, it is important in a journey to understanding ourselves to want a name. It is very human. Once we transcend gender and Self and move into We/One, there will be an energetic ascension. But it is beautiful to know that this is the biggest first step in changing our self awareness that we’ve had in a very long time. Who do you identify as?
